Sonu Niigaam Ji in Mega Musical Mahotsav

The longest running singing reality show of Indian television, an initiative and an idea of Subhash Jha completed its milestone of 1000 episode in 15 years.

It was a real treat for all the music lovers as all the great artistes of the music fraternity were present on a single platform. Sonu Niigaam Ji, Pyarelal Ji and Suresh Wadekar Ji was the judge for the Mega Challenge Finale which was between two states, namely West Bengal and Maharashtra. In the team of West Bengal were Abhijit Ghoshal (Captain), Keka Ghoshal and Sanchita whereas in Maharashtra, Vaishali Made (Captain), Kaushik Deshpande and Rohit Shyam Raut were the contestants.

An evening full of music, masala and glamour. Contestants got an opportunity to showcase their talent with many of the great musicians  and in front of so many people of the industry..

Sonu Ji was looking ravishing as always and was in red blazer and black pants. He was present there with His wife Madhurima Ji and His son Nevaan. Being the very first anchor of the show, Sonu Ji took over the stage and performed the song which He performed for the very first time on the same platform on 1st May 1995.

Then came the other anchor Shaan who performed his popular number Om Shanti Om, the older version and the newer one. As the time passed, on stage were Aditya Narayan and Udit Narayan Ji. They too performed some of their hits and Aditya was being felicitated by his father. After which Dhairya and Afsha Musani, the youngest anchors came on stage.. Kailash Kher also performed his number Saiyaan in his sufiana voice..

To celebrate this mega musical mahotsav there were other guests present for the evening namely Ravindra Jain, Jatin Pandit, Lalit Pandit, Bappi Lahiri, Kunal Ganjawala, Peenaz Masani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Sharman Joshi, R Madhavan, Kumar Sanu, Geetha Balsara, Talat Aziz, Abhijeet, Kavita Krishnamurti, Kailash Kher, Anand Ji, Himesh Reshammiya etc.

Abhgyaan Das was the winner for the singer of series award and was presented the all new Zen Estilo Car..

At last, Sonu Ji again came on stage and performed His latest hit song All Is Well from the movie 3 Idiots. Sonu Ji rocked the show with His superb performances..

Last but not the least, Sonu Ji and the other two judges announced the winners name. Maharshtrians won the Mega Challenge with just two marks.

So an evening came to an end with such a great musical extravaganza. It was a roller coaster ride for everyone who watched it.. Congrats to Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team on achieving this milestone and creating a history on Indian Television..
