Raavan is going to be the biggest movie of the year. It is written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram are in the lead roles while Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Priyamani are playing the supporting roles. The film is expected to be released on June 18, 2010. Film music is composed by Academy Awards winner A. R. Rahman. Raavanmovie is a modern day version and a loose adaptation of the great Indian epic Ramayana which tells the story of Rama, whose wife Sita is abducted by the king of Lanka, Ravana. Some sources are also claiming that themovie is based on the life of a Maoist leader Kobad Ghandy.
