*Pyarelal to perform live after 20-years in Mumbai
*Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy,Sudesh Bhosle and others to perform
Versatile singer Sonu Nigam who idolized the evergreen Mohammad Rafi and used to sing in his voice, has planned to recreate the magic at the Concert - A Musical Journey Of Maestros, on 7th May, 2011 at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.
Legendary music director Pyarelal of the music duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal, is set to perform live after twenty years. In order to revive the magic of the legend, Sonu suggested Pyarelal to organize more of these shows. To make the show spectacular more than 100 musicians will be performing live on stage with 60 chorus singers.
Along with Sonu other singers such as Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle, Shail Hada, Vibhavari Joshi and Shrikant Kulkarni will also enthrall the audience with the chartbuster songs composed by Laxmikant -Pyarelal from their evergreen hit films.
Talking about the show Pyarelal said, “The team of Laxmi-Pyare has always believed in team work which will be evident in this show. Our entire team has worked very hard for this show. Even while doing the song selections for this show we had long discussions with our singers and musicians. Indeed it was the tough task to select the songs .While doing the preparations for this show I became nostalgic and started remembering the memories associated with the creation of each song.”
